Straffe Hendrik Tripel is a golden triple with a sturdy white collar. The armona is spicy with hints of black pepper, coriander and ginger, and is even insinuating the presence of oranges.The beer is brewed with a selection of Saaz and Styrian hops of a very high quality. The subtle blend of six special varieties of malt gives the beer a well-balanced and powerful taste.

Kwak is recognisable by its deep bright amber colour and a dense, creamy coloured head. The pale wood of the glass holder makes a pleasant contrast with the beer. Discover a very mellow, fruity attack, a nougat-like solidity, and a slightly spicy character with hints of liquorice passing into a warm finish that reminds you of caramelised banana. The bitterness always remains in the background but in the end emerges delicately.

The team at the Prancing Pony was at the end of the brew boil run and could have just stopped here. Instead, sparing no cost, they add a tonne of additional hop for some opulent citrusy flavour. This balances nicely with the extra fire brew maltiness in this Pale Ale. The spicy aroma makes is enought to ignite anyones senses.

The beer is brewed with four different kinds of malt and two aromatic varieties of hop which give the beer its inimitable taste. The palate is complex and tends towards a certain bitterness.
