Jack Daniels Bonded is Jacks time-honored recipe of 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye, but distilled to the standards of the Bottled-In-Bond act (1897), meaning this whiskey is from one distilling season, at 100 proof (50% ALC/VOL), and is matured for a minimum of 4 years at our federally bonded warehouses. Barrels were hand selected for their unique and particular characteristics of deeper colour, flavor, and aroma, which bring a darker, richer, and more oak-forward character to Jack Daniels Bonded. It is a big, bold Tennessee Whiskey with layered notes of caramel, rich oak, and spice giving way to a pleasantly lingering finish.

First released on the Australian market in 1989, Gentleman Jack is a premium brand from the Jack Daniel's distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. The formula is based on early trial work carried out by Jack Daniels himself and is bottled to celebrate his whiskey being awarded a top gold at the St. Louis fair in 1904. Gentleman Jack remains consistent with the original Jack Daniel's style, it does however, differ in being a 'single whiskey', not a combination of whiskies blended together. Unlike any other whiskey, Gentlemen Jack is also charcoal mellowed twice though maple wood, once before aging and once again after. The distillery describes this process in their own distinctive way: ' Jack knew what a single journey through the charcoal meant to his exceptional whiskey - how the coarsely ground maple charcoal mellowed out the harsh oils and impurities that threatened the smooth, warm character of the whiskey. Imagine what a second trip would do, he mused. And so, throughout his life, he experimented with charcoal mellowing his whiskey twice. The process proved so painstaking, he never crafted enough of his new whiskey to introduce it to the world. Happily, he saved the recipe. In 1988, we finally put our founder's formula into limited production, and Gentleman Jack became the first new whiskey from the Jack Daniel Distillery in more than 100 years. No, our folks in product development have never been known for speed. We think a good thing is worth waiting for and, in the case of Gentleman Jack, I think you'll agree, we were smart to wait and get it right.' (The distillery is unique in that it uses five different strains to create ten different whiskies). Ages will vary in this series, (a seven year minimum is cited by one source). Regardless, the aim is to bottle when the whiskeys are deemed to have reached their peak, with each barrel yielding approximately 180 bottles. Each release is individually marked with a warehouse and barrel number which is not predictable and subject to change without notice. It's also part of the fun: No two barrels create identical tasting Bourbons, thus the single barrel concept provides the opportunity to appreciate and compare whiskies from different barrels and aging locations. In 1940 a very special bottle of barrel-aged bourbon was brought on a wild turkey hunt. The name stuck and still signifies exceptional, aged bourbon today. Master Distiller Eddie Russell honours this tradition by ageing our bourbon longer - from five up to eight years - in number four 'alligator char' American oak barrels.

Wild Turkey is a genuine Kentucky Bourbon, matured in new charred white oak barrels to give it's unique smoothness. Best consumed neat to appreciate it's character; can also be consumed on ice or as a mixer generally with cola or dry ginger ale. Michters is Americas first distilling company, dating back to 1753 when they started out making rye whiskey. They take a 'Cost Be Damned' approach to the production of every barrel, using various methods including air drying for 36 months, toasting the barrels before charring them, using a low barrel-entry strength, heat cycling to encourage ageing during the frigid winters and using specific filtration types for each whiskey they make. The Sour Mash is their original recipe whiskey.

Paul Jones waited for her answer excitedly on that night of the grand ball…when she arrived in her beautiful gown, she wore a corsage of four red roses. He later named his Bourbon “Four Roses” as a symbol of his devout passion for the lovely belle, a passion he thereafter transferred to making his beloved Four Roses Bourbon.
