A warming spice-driven gin with a unique balance of savoury Australian native botanicals and aromatic winter spices. Sweet orange peel, native strawberry gum and macerated lilly pilli offers a gentle yet full bodied sweet backbone, which is warmed by the fragrant spicy notes of aniseed myrtle, cloves, nutmeg and cassia. Hot green cardamom and black peppercorn are carried through in the long nutty and coffee-like finish provided by the soft oils of native roasted wattle seed. Billy Goats, our Queensland Gin is a small batch, handcrafted using a unique selection of Old and New World Botanicals. We have combined Australian Wheat spirit with gently soaked Juniper, the freshness of Ruby Red Grapefruit, Lemon Myrtle and Native Australian Finger Limes for a vibrant citrus burst. We were looking for a very approachable Gin that had enough citrus for a refreshing burst, but also with enough subtle botanicals to give complexity and depth.
