The distillery is located in the glen of the Kinchie Burn where it derives its name. Glenkinchie is a sweeter style of scotch that is supported by a delightful creamy texture on the palate.

A new release from The Macallan and one we were thrilled to learn of. Matured in a combination of American and European Sherry oak almost 50:50, though slightly weighted towards American oak ex-Sherry casks. New oak is shipped from America across to Spain, where expert Coopers craft casks. These casks are then sherry seasoned before traveling to the Speyside distillery to mature for twelve years. These whiskies are then united with counterparts aged in sherry seasoned European oak casks. The result is, as you might expect nothing short of seamless. On the palate youll find some spice along with some green fruits though the meat of the palate remains true to style, featuring fat caramelised sultanas, vanilla and wood spice. Ardbeg Wee Beastie has been matured for just 5 years, making it the untamed enfant terrible of the whisky world. Whereas most single malts seek the smoothness and balance of older age, Ardbeg Wee Beastie offers a monstrously smoky experience. On tasting, the whisky is not just incredibly smoky, but also surprisingly well balanced by the expert use of sherry cask maturation. Aroma: Very fresh, herbal, with hints of vanilla, pear, freshly cracked black pepper and honey-glazed ham. Rich Turkish coffee, sappy pine resin. With water, more herbal notes like vetiver and fennel, along with aniseed, green apple and leather. Taste: A rich, explosive mouthfeel with lots of chocolate, tar, creosote and smoked bacon, followed by a burst of antiseptic lozenges, eucalyptus and more aniseed. Finish: A long, salty and mouthcoating finish with hints of cocoa, fudge and savoury meats.

A traditional, non-chill filtered Whisky aged in Sherry and Bourbon casks. The extra long maturation lends elegance, depth and warmth, and a soft, rich palate that is tantalising and entrancing.

Glengoyne is a unique distillery in that the stills are located in the Scottish Highlands, yet the distillery stores are located in the Lowlands - due to the distillery being located on the border between the regions. The other unique aspect is the the barley is warm air dried rather than using peat smoke which imparts a delicate, almost floral nature to their drams. The 10 Year Old has flavours and aromas of fresh green apples, toffee and a hint of nuttiness; a trademark taste that is courtesy of Scotland's slowest distillation.

The Highland style of Whisky is generally considered to be one of the most approachable styles. Deep gold in colour with a nose of heather and wood smoke Highland Park has a deceptively complex palate that ranges from sweet maltiness to smokey peat and savoury spices.

An elegant sophisticated Speyside with the most complex aroma of any malt. Astonishingly fragrant with sweetish notes and a smoky saltiness on the finish. Complexity married to such refinement is not easily found.

Glenfiddich Project XX in the second release in the experimental series and was created when 20 of the industrys most exceptional minds came together to create this truly unique, pioneering expression. Warm summer fruit aromas with sweet candyfloss and liquorice notes. Experiment with a flake of sea salt on the side to heighten the taste.

Goodradigbee's Ironbark Red is a world's first innovation being the only single malt spirit matured in Australian Red Ironbark sourced from the New England Ranges, and in Goodradigbee's whisky maturation cubes, not barrels. The spirit is a rich, red and surprisingly complex spirit. It has a sweet honey and charred citrus flavour upfront, then moves to dark chocolate and golden syrup swiftly followed by subtle notes of seasoned wood and a nutty maltiness. The finish is powerful and succinct.
