This lovely, light pink coloured wine was crafted using 100% Pinot Noir grapes. Fragrances of fresh and floral candied fruits flow off the aromatic nose, effortlessly fusing with the dry and refreshing palate full of Pinot Noir flavours. Cool mineral acidity balances these elements, leading to a long and satisfactory finish. Pair this delightful Rose with light salads, rice, pasta and goat cheese.

Light copper rose gold. Roses and Turkish delight provide a bright, pretty floral nose with fresh berry fruit characters. Dry, clean and crisp, a very refreshing wine with both Sangiovese and Nebbiolo in harmony.

Grenache was hand-picked specifically for the production of rose. The fruit was crushed and macerated for 2 hours to increase colour pick-up as well as some natural fruit tannin. The must was then gently pressed to liberate the juice, and then 80% was fermented in stainless steel at cool temperatures to retain delicate fruit aromas. The masterful hands of Jean Claude Mas present Mediterranean rosé magic with a delightfully expressive wine in a highly decorative bottle. The wine is from Pays d'Oc and the grapes used were Grenache, Caladoc and Cinsault, harvested at night to maintain supreme freshness. The exacting winemaking was aimed at preserving maximum purity and concentration of flavour of the fruit. Color: Cherry pink. Nose: Aromas of cherry, white flowers and a surprising grenadine flavour. Palate: Rich and well-structured in the mouth with a real fruity character and a long finish.

Affentals unique name derives from a pilgrimage chapel, which stood near the grapevines. In support of the pilgrims Ave Maria the valley was known as Ave Tal (Ave Valley) in the local vernacular, from which todays Affental (Valley of the monkeys) evolved. The origin of the Affental Wine Cooperative dates back to the year 1908. At the time, 24 winegrowers founded the Natural Winegrowing Association of Affental. From this, todays Affental Viticultural Cooperative was created over the years with approximately 240 hectares of vineyards.
