Balanced and elegant tannins, nicely integrated oak, gives the wine balance and structure. Ø WINEMAKING Each parcel of fruit is gently crushed and transferred into small open fermenters. Heading down boards keep the cap submerged for better skin contact. The fermenters are temperature controlled to provide optimum conditions. Gentle extraction is achieved by the draining of wine from the skins and returning back over. Wine is then transferred to temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for maturation. This wonderfully elegant Shiraz shows intense, pristine, blackberry fruit and ripe, silky tannins. It almost has a Pinot Noir elegance to it and, luckily, the quality of future vintages will only be getting better too as Voyager's new clones come on line.

Still very youthful, the quality French oak riding high in the saddle. This is a wine of excellent quality, ticking every box. Its texture and balance are admirable, the varietal character likewise.

Rich mulberry, black cherries and soft white pepper on the nose followed by blackberry and dark cherries and layers of vanillan oak and dark chocolate on the palate.

Rosabrook was one of the first wine producing pioneers of the Margaret River region and their expertise is demonstrated in the palate of this medium bodied Shiraz with bright spicy fruit, a richly flavoured middle palate and a long spicy finish. Although Shiraz is a lesser known variety of this premium region, it's examples like this that mean it's gaining a growing following.

Made by iconic winery Howard Park, the fruit for MadFish Gold Turtle Shiraz is sourced from the South West of the state where Shiraz thrives. This wine has sweet berry and spice characters complemented by a touch of white pepper and well handled French oak. Lovely!

Margaret River is an under appreciated region for Australian Shiraz, and it's hard to see why with Cape Mentelle's Shiraz showing a vibrant core of blueberry, mulberry and hints of raspberry. It is well balanced with cocoa and savoury oak. The palate yet, is fine, elegant and focussed, finishing with chalky and structural tannins.

WINEMAKING: Crafted from Shiraz grapes harvested from our finest block, this wine underwent fermentation in stainless steel tanks, preserving its vibrant freshness. Daily pump overs ensured thorough maceration of the skins, contributing to the wine's striking colour and tannin structure. After pressing, it matured for nearly a year in a blend of French, Hungarian, and American oak barrels,imparting depth and complexity.
