The GlenAllachie Distillery, sitting in a 20-acre site in Speyside, was built in 1968. A team led by Scotch whisky industry veteran Billy Walker completed the acquisition of The GlenAllachie Distillery in October 2017. It is one of the younger distilleries on Speyside but it has over 50,000 casks maturing on-site, some of which date back to the 1970s. GlenAllachie used to be produced only for blends. This is the first time the whiskies have been released as stand-along single malts. None of the range is chill- filtered or coloured. The GlenAllachie 12 year old (46% ABV) is GlenAllachies flagship bottling. Polished bronze in colour it has a nose of butterscotch and honey playing the lead with raisins and mocha in the background. On the palate there is honey, marzipan and bananas, with lashings of butterscotch, raisins and a delicate hint of mocha.

Talisker Rare By Nature 8 Year OldSingle Malt Scotch Whisky 57.9% Abv Skye The Singleton is renowned for the smoothness and balance of its Whiskies, which match the liveliness and vigour of the leaping salmon in the fast flowing rivers of Speyside in Scotland. The Singleton Dufftown is particularly known for its elegant grassy and fruity aromas and tastes. 'A big taste, the first-ever release of Talisker finished in pot-still Caribbean rum casks.' Tasting Notes APPEARANCE Dry white wine, with pale yellow lights. Good beading. NOSE Mellow and mild overall, with hardly any prickle. The first impression is of honeycomb; spun honey, but also a trace of beeswax. Beneath this is a faint floral note of dry grasses or wallflowers, with fresh orchard fruits on an earthy base. A little water softens the nose and adds pear drop boiled sweets, making all the aromas more evident. BODY Light to medium. PALATE At natural strength the texture is creamy-smooth, the taste intense and sweet overall, and both drying and slightly coating as that hint of beeswax re-appears. With water the effect is smoother and sweeter, the intensity reduced. FINISH Quite long and warming with white pepper, becoming chilli in the aftertaste. Lightly drying, it leaves the palate tingling. A drop of water starts to tame the chilli-spice.

Second fill American oak, ex-bourbon casks, followed by a period of further maturation in first fill Spanish oak, ex-Oloroso casks. Intense and warming. Welcoming chocolate and creamy vanilla, with rich honey sweetness tempered by vibrant spices. A whisper of flowery fruitiness yields to crisp bursts of citrus and apple. Chocolatey indulgence layered with honeyed spices and Christmas cake. Floral note lend a dash of finesse, while zesty hints of citrus and green apple enliven a lovely long finish.

Rounded and smoky - like burning Applewood - with creamy toffee, aniseed, treacle and dates. A curious suggestion of juicy fruits, such as peach and banana. With a drop of water, reminders of Ardbeg's classic fragrance lime, pine resin, fennel, saddle soap and tar. A gentle waxiness, like fragrant candle wax, and hints of smoked herbs. An Oa gives a final subtle reminder of the sea with briny notes and seaweed but always accompanied with creaminess. A smooth, creamy texture leads into a huge syrupy sweetness, flavours of milk chocolate, treacle toffee, aniseed, orange and smoky tea leaves. Gentle, sweet spices (nutmeg & cinnamon), some cigar smoke, and a very unusual flavour of grilled artichokes. Wood is always present in the spirit, gently nutty and reminiscent of a carpenter's workshop. A long, sweet finish, with floral overtones, mint toffee and some gentle malty biscuit notes.

The Kilchoman Sanaig Single Islay Malt Scotch Whisky presents soft cooked fruits with caramel and vanilla on the nose along with toffee, peat smoke and a lingering sweetness on the palate. The finish is a lovely balance of peat smoke, fruit and sweetness.

Port Askaig Islay 100° Proof Single Malt is a cask-strength single malt Islay whisky from Port Askaig. With notes of sweet fruit, peat smoke and minerality, this is a benchmark Islay whisky and a great peaty dram.

Cosseted away in the finest, hand-selected oak casks and allowed to mature at its own sedate pace, this is one of the most remarkable, perfectly balanced malts of its kind. Dalmore, located on the northern shores of the Firth of Cromarty, deep in the Scottish Highlands has been making single malt whiskies since 1839 and the bottles still bear the stag crest of the Clan Mackenzie. Their Cigar Malt Reserve is a wonderful blend of three different oak types of 10-15 year old whiskies. White American oak, 30 year old Matusalem Olorosso Sherry casks and Premier Cru Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques. The final blend has an enveloping aroma and flavour of the finest hand-made cigars; rich and smoky and extremely long lasting.

Deep, golden mahogany in colour, Dalmore has a fantastic nose of orange, marmalade and aromatic spice. Elegant and rich on the palate with concentrated citrus, oloroso Sherry with hints of sweet vanilla pod. An amazing and lingering finish.
