Home grown and hand made by brothers John and James Lienert at their family vineyard in the Barossa Valley. From a region renowned for world class Shiraz, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon, this sultry, spicy, smooth and juicy wine is loaded with classic Barossa flavour and deliciousness.

The fruit for this distinctive Argentinian malbec was sourced from Agrelo and Lulunta. Agrelo is situated 35 km south of the city of Mendoza. It's terroir is considered to be some of the best for the production of richly flavoured malbec. Lulunta is a sub-region of the famous Mendoza area. It too has a reputation for producing malbecs of quality.The wine remains unoaked to allow the freshness and vibrancy of the deeply flavoured dark fruit to shine.

The Knappstein Malbec showcases vibrant varietal aromas of dark plum and raspberry with a dose of fresh cherry. Generous, yet delicate tannins provide the wine with body, enhanced with subtle oak. Fruit is complimented with sweet cinnamon and spice characters, framing the wine for a long finish.

The lovely Clare Valley is renowned for producing outstanding wines. This dark inky Malbec offers aromas of pepper and sage leading to a palate of dark berry fruit flavours with subtle toasted oak. This wine is a vibrant accompaniment to charred meats or grilled salmon.
