Our foray into Cristalino (Crystal Clear) Don Primo does have three varietals Silver, Reposado, Anejo which are related to the length of the aging in various barrels, in this case, Oak. Once aged the Anjeo "Don Primo" is triple distilled and filtered the result is a very clear spirit Tequila which is almost clear has a soft Oak scent and a light Oak taste with a genuine 100% Agave flavour. Inspired by the visit of Alfred Barnard to the distillery in the 1880's when he tried an 'exceptionally fine' eight-year-old from the distillery, this is a fitting tribute for the milestone.
