The Tar & Roses Tempranillo is a great example of what 20 year old Tempranillo vines are achieving in Australia. On the nose there are juicy rich mulberries, freshly dug earth with hints of blackcurrant and aniseed. The palate has impressive length, balance and structure.

Crafted in typical Mr Mick style, this wine has subtle French oak, smooth tannins, distinctive varietal characters of strawberries and red cherries, a hint of spice and a long lingering finish.

The nose is expressive and fruit driven with ripe berry aromas, darker briary notes and hints of spicy oak. The palate is fresh and spicy with seductive red berry and varietal cherry cola flavours, fine tannins and classy oak leading to a very long finish.
