Since inception in 1881, Bunnahabhain has been producing an Islay malt a little different from most. By not heavily peating their malted barley, the resulting whisky is a clean, pure and distinctive malt. Glenfarclas 40 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a rich, dark mysterious gold colour with a nose reminiscent of relaxing in an old leather armchair while eating walnuts and chocolate covered raisins. The flavour is sweet initially with orange segments dipped in liquid chocolate. Then a lovely flavour of burnt brown sugar at the back of the mouth The finish is dry oozing with big tannins and more richdark cocoa beans. One by one, The Last Great Malts of Scotland will leave their distillery gates. Deemed the bad boy of Speyside, Craigellachie is an unapologetically unique and challenging Single Malt. This is a complex dram, packed with flavour and texture. 13 Years Old, from an 1891 distillery. Bottled at a punchy 46% ABV. A stubborn, sulphurous single malt, condensed in rusted worm tubs on an inhospitable rocky bluff.

Chivas Regal 25 Year Old Scotch Whisky has enticing fruity aromas of sweet orange and peach, followed by notes of marzipan and nuts. Hints of rich milk chocolate orange and a fondant creaminess are the lead in to a finish that is smooth rounded and luxuriously long.

Johnnie Walker King George V was created to celebrate the Royal Warrant given in 1934 to the Walker family to mark the exceptional qualities of their whiskies. The King George has more restraint and sophistication courtesy of the Port Ellen Distillery component that is powerful, slow and resonant. It initially shows a profound smoky aroma followed by sweet, fresh fruit (apples, pears, bananas) malt characteristics; developing into rich dried fruit and spicy complexity, raisins, figs and cinnamon. The palate is smooth with a rich, fruity sweetness. Warming with subtle flavours of sandalwood and smoke. Taste is powerful, complex, rich yet smooth. A mouth warming and lingering rich peaty finish.

Nestled away in the far north of Scotland's Highland region is the distillery of Clynelish. Situated at Brora on the stormy North East coast, this 14 Year Old single malt has been matured in specially selected oak casks and then bottled at the full 46%. Displaying a waxy nose with a hint of sugar and florals, the whisky arrives on the palate with power and flavours of signature spice and maritime saltiness.
