Young Henrys wouldnt be what it is without Newtown. Its their home, community and inspiration. So when the suburb celebrated its sesquicentenary they were invited to brew a unique beer to celebrate, they jumped at the chance. The resulting beer was an Aussie Pale Ale called Newtowner. In a bit of a nod to the suburbs past and present influences, we used a blend of English and Australian malts. Then we added three varieties of local hops to make it fun, fruity and even a little bitter. Carton of 24 x 375mL Cans.

This 6% Oz/American style IPA is dangerously sessionable, has a slight hazy golden hue, balanced bitterness and a refreshingly dry finish. Massive tropical/citrus dry hop character brings it home. Certified organic Steam Ale is a brilliant introduction to the world of craft or for those seeking a sessionable beer that is crisp, fresh and full of character. Steam beers were originally lagers brewed at the warmer ale temperatures, aiming to deliver the best of both worlds. We decided to do our own spin by fermenting an ale yeast cooler to arrive at the same place, but via a different route. The result is a crisp, seasonable beer, fresh and full of fruity and tropical characters. IBU 22

The story goes that twin 'beerded' brothers, Thomas and Charles, set out to find the great inland sea of Australia, Lake Eyre. Ensuring they stowed plenty of Pale Ale for their journey into the scorching centre, they soon had no choice but to stay put and let the water find them. This Pale Ale is the lead beer of the Steamrail range, picking up a Bronze medal at the 2016 Royal Adelaide Beer Awards & Silver Medal at Australian International Beers Awards 2018. A Pale Ale brewed with wheat and crystal malt. It has two additions of the citrus and floral cascade hop in the brewhouse. It is then dry hopped in the fermenter with the intensely flavour-filled Australian Galaxy Hop. IBU: 25 Carton 24 x 330mL Bottles.

Behind the exterior, the old yoghurt factory stood empty for over 20 years before Philter moved in.
