Champagne Pascal Agrapart Grand Cru Minéral Blanc de Blancs (Disg. TBC) ( )
Champagne Pascal Agrapart Grand Cru Vénus Blanc de Blancs (Disg. Jun 25)
Dom Pérignon Brut Vintage
Dom Pérignon is the most famous Champagne in the world, and for good reason. The bouquet sparkles with delicate fresh violets in a setting of white peaches. The soft delicate flavours continue while the senses are tickled by the most delicate of fine bubbles. Though this is such a fine delicate wine, the complexity is astounding, along with its length. Stunning.
Clos Lanson
Chateau D'Avize Blanc de Blancs Brut Zero GC ( )
Château d’Avize is one of only a few châteaux in Champagne, and the only one with a Grand Cru status. Using their biodynamic principles, the pope of Bio Dynamic and Organic Viticulture, Hervé Jestin and the Leclerc Briant team have created an extraordinary, age-worthy Champagne which demands cellaring to reach its potential. This Blanc de Blancs combines Leclerc Briant’s characterful, stimulating style; the tension of the 2013 vintage; and the power of the Avize terroir – the grandest of all the villages in the Côte des Blancs. Avize, already home to some of Champagne’s most iconic and collectable producers, has a new shining star of the champagne world. The Champagne develops a fruity, coated and juicy substance, supported by a lemony acidity. The salinity and dryness enhance a rich and suave finish.
Armand de Brignac Brut Gold
Armand de Brignac Champagne, colloquially known as the Ace of Spades, is well known for it's striking bottle design, references in pop culture and its unquestionable quality. Brut Gold is the flagship cuvýe of the range and the first style ever produced under the label. Its unmistakable gold-plated bottles are decorated at a single site in France's Cognac region and are fitted with pewter labels hand-applied to the surface of the bottle. The wine itself is marvelously complex and full-bodied, the bouquet is both fresh and lively, with light floral notes. On the palate, a racy fruit character perfectly integrated with the wine's subtle brioche accents.
Krug Vintage Brut
In the words of no less than James Halliday, "Krug is the greatest wine of Champagne". At the House of Krug every Vintage is crafted to be different. Every Krug Vintage reveals the expression of a particular year with its distinct character: it is the music of the year as captured by Krug. It is a blend of expressive wines from a single year enhanced by a stay of over ten years in the cellars. The result a manifestation of time, place and feeling that verily leaps from bottle to flute.
Pol Roger Cuvee Sir Winston Churchill Brut
Majestic, highly complex and individual, the Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill is the flagship cuvée of the house of Pol Roger. The Champagne is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards. Made only in exceptional years the exact blend is a family secret. Made in honour of Sir Winston Churchill the first release was in 1975.
Taittinger Comtes De Champagne Rose
Its superb maturity tantalizes all the senses with a deep pink robe highlighted with glints of copper, an extremely delicate persistent effervescence, a nose of crushed strawberries, lime and liquorice underlined by a hint of roast coffee and cacao. The palate is entranced by a variation of gourmet sensations. The fresh, precise and taut attack gives way to reveal a supple, molten and heady structure. The finish imparts fruity notes underscored by a saline freshness. With the purity of its precise, gourmet aromatic structure, the Comtes de Champagne Rosé is perfectly in line with its predecessors and promises to offer excellent ageing potential.
