Their Rare Dry Gin is made in a truly modern Australian style, capturing the flavours of both Asia and the Mediterranean with a mix of local and exotic botanicals (even using fresh oranges as one of its botanicals rather than dried orange peel). Each bottle is individually numbered, hand labelled and produced in small batches from their small distillery in the Yarra Valley.

Our tropical take on a traditional sloe gin; swapping sloe berries for locally grown Far North Queensland Davidson Plums. The plums are steeped for up to 3 months to produce a truly unique sloe style gin. With an earthy aroma that is reminiscent of plum jam, stewed rhubarb and a touch of sweetness. First gin distilled on the French Riviera, Inspired by the Perfume Mastery of Grasse. 44N is produced using a unique 3 step cutting edge process. The process is inspired by the high tech extraction and distillation techniques used for making the best perfumes in the world and has never before been used in spirits. The 20 high quality botanicals that go into 44n include Cade (a species of juniper typical to the Mediterranean), Mimosa, Rose Centifolia, Immortelle and Verbena which meld together with our unique process. Top notes The first thing that hits your nose is fresh zingy lemon peel and grapfruit. The aroma of a marine breeze, samphire, is punctuated by touches of mimosa. Cade adds woody, piney facets. Body notes A blooming floral body with hints of Grasse's rose centifolia and jasmine. Jammy facets of bitter orange are countered by the herbaceous punch of angelica. Hints of warm pepper here and there round out the middle notes. Base notes The tangy warm spicy notes of alexanders, underlying all along, allude to the undergrowth where the cade grows freely. Orris and honey ensure a sweet yet musky long-lasting effect on the tongue, holding their end as floral and citrus notes mingle nicely together.

No. 209 Chardonnay Barrel Reserve Gin initially shows a grassy nose followed by buttery-toffee and a hint of oak. The fist sip is subtly sweet and almost fruity, followed by a gin-inspired mid-palate with juniper, cardamom, orange and a hint of eucalyptus. Its finish is rich, long and lingering with a light tannin tang, the sweetness, toasted oak and a pronounced butterscotch note carrying on until the next sip. The Chardonnay Barrel Reserve Gin won a Master Medal in the Gin Masters Competition by the Spirits Business in 2018.

No. 209 Sauvignon Blanc Barrel Reserve Gin Batch #4 has a floral nose with hints of toasted grain and subtle spice over undertones of juniper and citrus. The first sip is alluringly sweet and citrusy, with a pleasant tang from wine barrel aging. Mid-palate shows a burst of floral tones, lavender, rose and chamomile with hints of juniper. The finish is long and round with cardamom, chocolate and cassia notes.

Both aroma and taste are super fresh. On the nose, an aura of the Kimberleys Twin Lakes region comes to mind, scents of jilungin and wild lemongrass bringing forth a refreshing coolness reminiscent of a wetlands breeze on a hot summers day. Citrus elements of finger lime intertwine with cinnamon myrtle, awhile a heavy dose of juniper and coriander keep the spirit firmly entrenched in the traction of a truly classic gin. On the palate, exotic notes of spice interact with a deep earthiness. Hemps naturally nutty flavour interacts with native botanicals to bestow an almost hazelnut quality upon the gin, brightening up a rich fullness to the mouth feel. Geometric is an unapologetically a bold juniper and coriander gin. Along with subtle Cape Malay style cinnamon, cardamom and clove lined with the earthy indigenous buchu and Cape snowbush.Botanicals are bound together with Cape brandy, a masterfully textured spirit which gives this gin its uniquely rich and round profile. Prominent juniper and earth notes followed by subtly spiced citrus. Juniper, Cape snowbush and clove interlace around the soft-edged texture of the spirit. Cardamom and coriander pull the spirit to the back of the palate for a surprisingly long finish. Its length and texture making it ideal for a martini, its prominent juniper beautiful in a Geometric Gin and Tonic.
