As if living in the beautiful surrounds of Jervis Bay isn’t enough, we’re treated to the annual spectacle of migrating humpback mothers and babies dropping into the calm waters of the bay for a rest and play on the long journey south. To celebrate the whales’ return to the Southern Ocean we’ve created the Cow and Calf Pale Ale. Loaded with tropical Kiwi hops that deliver peach, lychee, and hints of citrus, this is a perfect brew for lazing in the sun in our beer garden.

Bay of plenty IPA named after the Indigenous Australian meaning for Booderee. Large quantities of whirlpool and dry hops deliver boatloads of fruit and waves of flavour. Mango, stonefruit and citrus are all to the fore, while a welcome bitterness gently washes the pallet clean. An IPA that delivers plenty of everything that is good about hoppy beers!

First brewed in 50L batches over 10 years ago, and yes, much like our Band-Aid skills, it’s seen a few little tweaks and improvements over the course of time. A decade on and many batches later, it is still our most popular beer! Brewed using Simcoe, Citra & Mosaic hops, our After Battle Pale Ale has always been a tasty combination of citrus and tropical flavours, all whilst keeping the malt profile on the lighter side to let those hops shine through at a rather modest 5.2% ABV
