Planted in the late 19th century, the High Trellis vineyard was the first d'Arenberg vineyard to be trained above knee height. For the past four decades, a Cabernet Sauvignon has been produced from the vineyard to critical acclaim, even winning the Jimmy Watson trophy in 1969. Carefully selected small parcels of wines have been crafted together to achieve a blend of optimum refinement and seamless structure. Each component adds distinctive characters to the finished wine; A classic bordeaux blend but with full Aussie wine characters. Cabernet Sauvignon boasts its' chewy strong tannins and long length, Cabernet Franc adds structural elegance with lifted ripe berry, whilst Merlot adds a soft velvety texture to the mid palate and a softness to the finish. Pirramimma Shiraz is full-fruited and powerful, with sweet plum and mocha along with cinnamon notes and dark chocolate which are all typical regional characters of McLaren Vale.

Made by Rose Kentish from Ulithorne at Domaine de la Sangliere, on the south coast of Provence, near Toulon. Vineyard and Vinification are run under organic principals. Pale Salmon-pink hue, a blend of Cinsault and Grenache. Fresh grapefruit with a hint of Rose Petals and red fruits of Strawberries and a long, dry, fresh finish.
