Canadian Club 12 Year Old is aged for the extra 6 years to allow maturing in wood to produce a darker spirit with more of the traditional characteristics of aged whiskies and a richer, more aromatic flavour. This 12 Year Old whisky is perfect for mixing, or can be served on the rocks.

The distillery is located in the glen of the Kinchie Burn where it derives its name. Glenkinchie is a sweeter style of scotch that is supported by a delightful creamy texture on the palate.

This expression brings with it a more well-rounded and sweet flavour profile packed with fresh citrus, sweet smoke, peppery spice and traditional Talisker maritime notes. It's matured in a combination of refill and toasted American oak casks, with a slightly higher proportion of toasted casks. Uniquely finished for up to four months in barrels that once contained rum from the Caribbean to create a luxuriously rich and indulgent single malt. After maturing the whisky for 21 years, the Malt Master adds even warmer and richer flavours by uniquely finishing this single malt in first fill bourbon barrels that once contained rum from the Caribbean. The rum soaked cask infuses the aged whisky with a spicy warmth and indulgent vanilla and toffee sweetness, the character of the Caribbean shining through. This gives the whisky a sumptuous sweet intensity that is both rich and creamy yet still retains the unmistakable character of Glenfiddich.
