Clovely Estate headline the emerging wineries in the South Burnett wine region and their White Label range is made to be enjoyed with great friends and family in all social situations. This Semillon Chardonnay is bursting with fresh and zesty citrus flavours that are complemented by lovely round back palate courtesy of the Chardonnay. The finish is textural with notes of stonefruit and almond.

Our Wine Panel was floored by this. Beautifully balanced tropicals and white flowers were more than what we even hoped for, with clean refreshing acidity. Sensational!

From red clay soils this is a more generous take on Hunter Valley Semillon. Nicely textured with lime and lemon intensity, some zesty freshness, and a long finish and lifted herbaceous characters.

The team at Hay Shed Hill has selected the best vineyard blocks on their Margaret River estate to create the Block Series. The fruit for this wine comes from some of the oldest Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc vines in the region. Full straw with yellow green hue, it presents a plush honeydew melon and warm honey mix with guava and lime juice generosity. The developing palate has a mouth-filling and harmonious mix of lime and melon with deeper traces of tropical fruits and touches of biscuit and honey chiming in on the finish. A complex barrel fermented style and ready to drink.

Our Classic Dry White is from the famous Italian Vermentino grape. It is pale straw in colour with lifted aromas of citrus blossom, lime juice indulge the palate. The wine finishes with a crisp acidity and lasting length. A beautiful daytime wine that pairs nicely with shellfish, fresh salad and grilled seafood or chicken.

A focus on reducing yields and dramatically increasing quality has seen Riverland producers, such as Byrne Vineyards, producing some terrific wines, like this Chardonnay.Delicate straw green. Fresh aromas of nectarine, peach, fig and barrel spice. Terrific bold yet tense fruit expression with good brightness and length, showing juicy nectarine and creamy melon, finishing with sea spray and oyster shell freshness.
