Leffe Blonde is a Belgian Abbey Ale, golden in colour. It has a delicate aroma of smoked bacon which combines beautifully with the more obvious aromas of caramel and toffee which are derived from the special Aromatic malts used. These malts go through a special kilning process which dries and cures the malt at high temperatures resulting in high soluble sugar levels giving Leffe its distinctive colour, aroma and flavour.

Fruity and aromatic on the nose, with hints of white flowers and apple. Very balanced and appealing on the palate with the delicate almond notes typical of Prosecco.

The story of Sol goes back to 1899, when on a sunny morning in Mexico, a brew master was working away. In 1904 a co-operative winery called Ai Vino Delle Langhe was founded and a young man who worked there was Alfred Prunotto. Prunotto took over the estate in 1922, giving it his own name and today it is run under the umbrella of the famous Marchesi Antinori family. Located in Alba the estate tends around 50 hectares of vineyards throughout the Langhe and Monferrato. This Nebbiolo is garnet red in colour with ample and complex aromas of violets and berry fruit, full and velvety in flavour and very balanced. Its structure and body make it an ideal match for meat and game dishes and for cheese.
