Tyrrells Pokolbin Hills Semillon

A different expression altogether sans the benefit of bottle age. Youthful. Zesty. Punchy. As filigreed of talcy acidity and fine boned as the rest of the crew, this is guava, lemon grass and sherbet, teeming along a line of candied citrus chew. The wine will blossom in the medium term, but will not shy away from some aged furrows and complexity. Alcohol: 12%. Closure: screwcap. Date tasted: Jan 2018. Drink by: 2029. Price: $35. Rating: 94/100.

Binet Family Wines Hunter Valley Crazy Coq White Field Blend

Vintage 2021 Region Hunter/Hilltops, NSW. This year's wine is inspired by the classic Alsatian white wines of France, wines that are fruit driven and often a sweet touch. A blend of Semillon, Riesling and Arneis produces a foral driven nose, middle palate sweetness with a crisp citrus finish. A perfect match for cheese and fresh seafood. Drink well chilled.

Hungerford Hill Classic Hunter Valley Vermentino

Hand picked and wild fermented with natural yeast in older barriques; adding fabulous texture and weight to the quince and lime aromas.

Hungerford Hill Classic Hunter Valley Verdelho

Hungerford Hill Verdelho has proven itself to be best suited to warmer viticultural climates, such as the Hunter Valley, where a complex unwooded style flavour ripeness is achieved and expressed early in the growing season allowing a fuller flavoured aromatic white wine. Brilliant youthful green in colour. A pungent aroma of spicy citrus, musk stick and hints of lavender whilst the palate is constant and complemented with hints of lemon and passionfruit with a subtle linear acid structure.

Signature Series Semillon

Great example of classic Hunter Valley Semillon. Refreshing lime and herbaceous flavours with underlying toasty honey characters starting to develop.Still aging very well with many years to come.

Margan Fordwich Hill Semillon

Hunter Valley Semillon is lean and racy in its youth but develops texture and complexity with age. It also will reflect the origins of where it is grown. This one is planted on the dolerite soils of the Fordwich Sill which leaves its footprint by way of a richer and softer wine with more palate weight in its youth, as opposed to Semillon grown on grey clay or alluvial soils.

Mount Pleasant Estate Semillon

This is a classic, long-time award-winner from the Hunter Valley, and the latest edition does not disappoint. Citrus notes bring a zest to this wine with a finish that lingers like an old friend.
