Rhythm Stick Wines are artisan Riesling producers that have a single minded approach to making terroir driven Rieslings from the heart Australia's most celebrated Riesling region, the Clare Valley. Their Red Robin Riesling is made by Clare Valley icon, Tim Adams, and is simply bursting with freshness and vitality. Minerals on the nose, followed by zesty citrus characters on the palate all accompanying a superb length and fine acid structure.

Jim Barry is a master of Riesling and this 2014 vintage won't disappoint. It opens with aromas of lifted spice, orange blossom and lime. This offers a huge volume of flavour of grapefruit, lime and spice, with a palate that exhibits great line and drive. There is a creaminess to the palate balanced by the crisp acidity on the finish.

The fruit for this wine was sourced from the famous Watervale region off the Castine family Golf House vineyard. A classic dry style of Riesling with provocative lime, lemon and floral aromas. The tantalising citrus flavours on the palate harmonise well with the refreshing acidity, finishing with good length of flavour.

Slices of citrus and floral notes abound on the nose of the 2019 Scimitar Single Vineyard Clare Valley Riesling complimenting a palate of lingering fresh lime and lemon flavours and finely balanced acid.

Aromas of freshly cut green apple blend with fennel and vanilla on a complex but restrained nose. The palate bursts with flavours of lime juice and white blossoms. The acid is firm but harmonious and drives the palate long through the finish. The wine finishes with a lovely dryness and feeling of refreshment.

Just over 20 years ago, Claymore Wines was humbly established with small volumes of Grenache and Riesling from a single vineyard in Penwortham. Since then, the estate has grown to include additional varietals and 44 hectares across three additional vineyards in Watervale.
