Hentley Farm winery is nestled into the foothills of the Western Barossa in Seppeltsfield. The wines produced from this part of Barossa are rich and supple. La Petite Beauté is carefully nurtured from the vineyard to the bottle, gently basket-pressed, and ahed in French oak to preserve these beautiful characteristics. Stockyard takes its name from the 100+ year old stone ruin on our Farms vineyard. Originally a slaughterhouse, today it occupies a much more serene position overlooking rows of low-yielding Shiraz vines. Seductive aromas of blackberry, plum and liquorice with savoury white spice on the nose, the palate is rich and concentrated with dark fruit flavours. The spice carries through to the palate, backed by intensely powerful tannins and integrated oak characters from eighteen months maturation in new and one-year-old French and American hogsheads. This wine will benefit from careful cellaring for 5 years and beyond.

The palate balances a rich core with vibrant acidity which gives both power and precision to the mouthfeel. Sorby Adams Neptune Rings is a premium red wine range of signature Barossa grape varieties sourced from the region's finest soils. This collection honors our ancestor, John Couch Adams, who, along with fellow mathematicians, proved the existence of the planet Neptune in the 1840s. His name is immortalized in one of Neptune's five rings. Lassell is another ring of Neptune and is our signature Barossa old vine Grenache crafted from gnarly bush vines planted in the 1890s. The wine has a deep ruby color with a red-brick edge. On the palate, it offers fragrant flavours of wild strawberry and cranberry, complemented by a hint of orange zest and accompanied by other aromatic berries, leading to a creamy finish. It has been matured for 18 months in French oak hogsheads (30% new), coopered using 4-year air-dried wood by Francois Frere and Taransaud Coopers. The grapes are sourced from the multi-generational Riebke family vineyard in the Ebenezer district of Barossa. This wine is enjoyable now and has the potential to age beautifully until 2033.
