Chateau Tanunda was established in 1890 and is the site of some of the First vines planted in the Barossa in the 1840s as well as the Valleys first winery. The grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon are from select rows of our Eden Valley vineyard. This wine displays deep, rich purple and red hues. The bouquet has lifted aromas of blackcurrant,bluberry and spice on the silky smooth palate with hints of cedar and mint.

This fine mature tawny is made from the Barossa’s traditional tawny varieties, Grenache, Mataro and Shiraz, and has been blended to an average age of a 10-year-old wine. This exhibits a sweet and mellow palate with developed fruit and oak tannin characters.This tawny wine is assessed and re-blended into a solera-based system, enabling us to consistently release wines of such high quality. Only a strictly limited quantity of 10-year-old tawny is drawn from the solera for bottling each year, and the barrels are topped up with selected younger wine.

Made from single vineyard to bottle. Low yields cool climate grapes from Nangkita. Deep sandy soil and limestone beneath, rich in elements for natural aromas and flavours. The wine is dark plum with lifted complex oak aroma. The palate has full flavour with rich berry fruit, warm, rich and intense. Upfront and splendidly appealing, the wine shows blackberry, sweet cherry, rich floral and vanillin oak notes, followed by a beautifully weighted palate that's plump and juicy, finishing lingering and silky. They are highly perfumed, with fine grained tannin profiles. La Petite Beauté is carefully nurtured from the vineyard to the bottle, gently basket-pressed, and ahed in French oak to preserve these beautiful characteristics. A rich and well balanced Shiraz. It has bright red and blue fruit characters that are complemented with layers of spice. The wine is well balanced with a fine lingering finish with savoury notes and florals.
