A favourite beer of Cologne, which became one of the city’s original since 1904. Kölsch is the distinctive beer of the city of Cologne which sits astride the Rhine in northern Germany. The brewing process makes Kölsch something of a cross between ale and lager and results in a wonderfully lemony, easy drinking beer. The soft, delicate hoppiness balances the fruity maltiness well and leads up to a clean, dry and fresh finish with just a hint of grapefruit - delicious.
