Sons Of Eden Remus Old Vine Shiraz
Keller Trocken Riesling
Call it what you will: an introductory, entry-level wine. This Riesling Trocken is the default go-to wine in the Keller portfolio. Purity, presence and priceit ticks all the boxes. Pear in abundance, citrus, apple blossom and chalky limestone makes this a very impressive introduction to Keller. With a fruit palate that never gets tropical or flat, Klaus-Peter shows us his true talent in this wine.
Thorn-Clarke William Randell Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep, inky red in colour. Lifted blackcurrant and blackberry on the nose with hints of eucalypt. The palate shows depth and power with generous pure Cabernet fruit and supple, long tannins. Balanced French oak adds some savoury spice to the wine. Will age well for many years.
Lévrier by Jo Irvine Anubis Cabernet Sauvignon

Robert Weil Riesling Trocken
This cuvée is a blend of fruit from high altitude Estate vineyards - including the brilliantly named Sandgrub vineyard - dotted around the village. There's a good dollop of Wasseros too, a fine vineyard which wraps around the Gräfenberg Grosse Lage. We've had some great bottles of this wine over the years, but few with the kind of horsepower on offer here. Racy and cool, with citrus and ripe stone fruit, yet balanced by fabulous, mouth-watering acidity; this is the sort of wine that will make Riesling lovers shudder with pleasure. Robert Weil doesn't make 'entry level' wines, as this clearly shows.
