This 2017 is a "precisely defined Cabernet showing the character of this vintage. Blackcurrant and scented cedary oak complement each other while the chalky tannins provide the structural base and palate definition" as Ray Jordan, who awards it 93pts has written. Erin Larkin in the Halliday Wine Companion gives it 92pts.

100% Shiraz gives this wine a vibrant pink colour, lovely lifted aromas of raspberry and icing sugar. The palate vibrates with lovely rich fruit flavours finishing more in the dry spectrum.
