Hussong's Tequila Anejo

Hussong’s Anejo Tequila is made from 100% blue weber agave, harvested at a minimum age of 5 years, from both the lowlands and highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. A unique cooking method combining the old traditional way of cooking agaves in brick ovens and stainless steel autoclaves for 32-36 hours. The Tequila is then aged for at least 15 months in used bourbon barrels to give it a smooth and balanced taste. Refined and complex aromas of caramel, vanilla, apple and cinnamon are reminiscent of apple pie, the palate continues with added notes of chocolate, orange and honey with a hint of aromatic spice and a toasted oak finish.

Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia Platino Tequila

Casa Cuervo wants to share the taste and aroma of its Reserva De La Platino tequila, the embodiment of a family tradition that began in 1795. Experience passed from generation to generation culminates in an ultra premium tequila like no other, past or present, that deserves to wear the Cuervo name. This exquisite liquid is handcrafted from a unique process the family calls Esencia de Agave, a meticulous method that brings the full character, flavour and essence of the agave life.

Arquitecto Tequila

Arquitecto Tequila is created from high altitude agave grown on the lands of Master Tequilero, Arq. Enrique Fonseca. The tequila is distilled in copper, exclusively from the weber blue agave plant in Mexico. The agave is cooked, crushed, fermented, and distilled within a range of 41- 45% ABV at Tequilena distillery in the town of Tequila. No immature agave, no non-agave fermentation sugars, no diffuser, and no additives were used in the production of Arquitecto Tequila.

Hussong's Tequila Reposado

Hussong’s Reposado Tequila is made from 100% blue weber agave, harvested at a minimum age of 5 years, from both the lowlands and highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. A unique cooking method combining the old traditional way of cooking agaves in brick ovens and stainless steel autoclaves for 32-36 hours. The Tequila is then aged for five months in used bourbon barrels to give it a complex flavour and delicate aroma. Aromas of vanilla custard, citrus and almonds lead to a hint of liquorice, fruity agave and toasted banana bread, the perfect mix of citrus and toasted oak.

Truly excellent tequila is something worth searching for, savouring, and celebrating. At 818, we bring you tequila from family-owned farms in Jalisco, using only the highest quality ingredients. We believe 818 tastes best when you can enjoy a glass with those you love - so cheers: here’s to the place you call home. Body & Colour: Light amber with shiny golden reflections and bronze hues with full body. Taste: Vanilla, sweet agave, and crisp herbal notes. Aroma: Caramel, toasted nuts, orange peel, chocolate, and toffee. Finish: Very long silk, rich and full bodied. What Makes It Special: Aged for over 1 year in oak barrels.

Sangre de Vida Premium Tequila Blanco

As wine is to France, Tequila is to Mexico – the life blood of the people. For the purest at heart and those who want that true agave flavour, Sangre de Vida Blanco captivates with a bouquet of banana, citrus, green bell pepper and white flowers. Once you have had a taste of the light peppery, agave with a hint of minerals from the earth your taste buds will long for another sip. Sangre de Vida Blanco tequila begins with slow roasting the agave piña hearts in stone-walled brick ovens. This centuries-old art of slow-cooking is then followed by cooling, shredding, and finally squeezing the hearts into a mosto (sweet juice), which then ferments for five days, after which is then distilled three times (with its final distillation completed in small stills with even more heat).
