Domaine Lamy-Pillot 1er Cru Boudriotte, Chassagne-Montrachet Domaine Lamy-Pillot is a small family-run winery, established in 1973, which counts as relatively youthful for the region. The wines of Lamy-Pillot are consistent and drinkable in the very best sense. The 1er Cru Boudriotte is a Pinot Noir with cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant on its nose. On the palate, there is more of that berry explosion, with strawberries and dark cherries grounded by earthy aniseed and light spice. A hint of oak and fine tannins.

Domaine Henri Magnien Gevrey-Chambertin Champerrier A relatively new cuvée, 2013 the first vintage of this wine. Situated close to Chambertin, Clos de Beze and Mazis-Chambertin, this vineyard is planted to old vines and Henri Magnien makes a mere 1200 bottles made. Champerrier has unusually rocky soils for Gevrey-Chambertin and this is evident in the wine with its minerality and elegance in with all that usual tannic structure. The palate expresses dark fruits, earthy notes, cherry liqueur, chocolate and mineral notes. Layered flavours of bright blackberries, orange, and subtle tannin are framed with delicate underbrush notes and toasted wood.

Eden Rift Terraces Pinot Noir A deep red in colour with aromas of cherry liqueur, bright blackberries, bay leaf, and crushed flowers, the Eden Rift Terraces Pinot Noir has layers of cinnamon, oak, blue and red fruits, and silken tannins that build across the mid-weighted palate. Well balanced, the finish is lengthy and fresh. Handpicked and sorted, fermented wild in open-tops and aged in French oak.
