Western Australia's Great Southern region is currently the hottest Australian region for Riesling. A sophisticated chardonnay based on some exceptional fruit and the deft subtle hand of the winemaker. It has been expertly crafted in the modern style, yet still delivers the power and fruit intensity that you expect from Margaret River. Love that minerally fine palate with its penetrating full ripe but controlled structure and depth. Pink grapefruit and pears mingle with white stone fruits. Seamless cashew oak integration finishes with mouth-watering acidity.

One of the best value Margaret River Chardonnays out there. Michael Kerrigan is doing an amazing job producing Chardonnays of elegance. Hay Shed Hill has delicate grapefruit and stone fruit flavours on the palate. And these flavours are matched with fine, minerally acidity with suble oak towards the finish.

Colour is a shimmering pale straw, the nose an enticing explosion of vibrant youthful character: lemon blossom, ground lime zest, lavender, fruit tingle, musk and talc. On the palate intense citrus and green apple characters bring appealing fruit sweetness, restrained by gentle guiding acidity that delivers persistence of flavour and a long, fresh finish, with the lingering wet stone minerality that is a signature of Great Southern Riesling. Exuberant but impeccably balanced, this wine has a great future.

Intensely aromatic, showing white flowers, jasmine and fragrant lime. Tightly wound acidity underpins an incredible purity of fruit with fresh finger lime and lemon curd notes. Fine phenolic structure and wet stone minerality provide drive and a crisp, dry finish with great length.

Sauvignon Blanc meets Semillon and Riesling in a rare blend, a portion of which is then matured in new French oak. "Scents of lemon curd and quince, nashi pear and almonds. The palate is much more keen and quick, a zesty shiver of lemon-lime with pink grapefruit and faint almond/nougat notes. A vibrant, tightly wound and thirst-quenching expression on hand. Very pleasing."

Fragrant citrus blossom, with peach skin, pear, nougat and nutmeal give a complex and seductive entry. The palates fine citrus and stone fruits are deftly embellished with a cashew nut creaminess and a mineral savoury note, to add texture and drive. Fine grain French oak offers subtle support and the bright acidity, a fresh finish.

The palate is vibrant and bright, with flavours of ripe passion fruit, gooseberry and lychee. These ripe fruit flavours are balanced with a refreshing lemon crisp acidity.

Zonte's call this a "sexy, sassy, somewhat racy Vermentino that exudes so much character it just keeps you coming back for more..." Expect lovely green apple, starfruit, fresh lime and zesty grapefruit all wrapped up in a crisp zingy finish. This is delicious!
