Harvested from 558 vines, clone Gm239, each vine was cordon cut and fruit was left hanging for a further 12 days. The result is a wine with flavours of honey and citrus blossom, full bodied with wonderful length with a hint of oak adds to the superb complexity. Geoff Weaver has journeyed from the big end of town to a tiny, intimate pocket of the Adelaide Hills. From his role as chief winemaker for the Hardy group of companies, in 1992 he made the break from corporate winemaking to pursue his own dream on the Lenswood vineyard that he and wife Judith had started planting a decade earlier. Those vines, some of the oldest in the Hills, are really reaping the rewards of maturity. Tightly structured yet aromatically lifted wine but with a supple mid-palate and a fine, crisp finish. The nose is fresh and lively with a lifted aroma of lime blossom. The palate is fruity with a juicy zest and a fine mineral edge.

A fantastic single vineyard Chardonnay from the cool climate region of Adelaide Hills. This Chardonnay showcases great stone fruit characters, along with plenty of rock melon and a subtle creamy oak finish.

Zonte's call this a "sexy, sassy, somewhat racy Vermentino that exudes so much character it just keeps you coming back for more..." Expect lovely green apple, starfruit, fresh lime and zesty grapefruit all wrapped up in a crisp zingy finish. This is delicious!
