Dog Point Sauvignon Blanc

A relatively new name but Dog Point's owners have years of experience in Marlborough and this label is much sought after. This release is beautifully textured rich and delicious.

le timbre PushTh'LittleDaisies

As always, the grapes for the le timbre PushTh'LittleDaisies 2020 vintage were handpicked and wild fermented. The sauvignon blanc grapes come from the Macedon Ranges in Victoria and hard de-stemmed and macerated on skins in the mountains for a month, pressed and aged in barrel for a further 10 months. Racked by gravity and bottled with not additions aside from a pinch of sulphur (30ppm). Always unfined and unfiltered. The resulting wine has flavours of white liquorice, lemonade fruits, and lavender butter. le timbre is made in a small shed surrounded by an acre of vines in Keilor, Melbourne, Australia. They currently work with growers practicing a variety of farming methods. Everything else is done on-site by hand with the help of friends and family.

Squealing Pig Sauvignon Blanc Bagnum

This Squealing Pig Sauvignon Blanc has been made from grapes sourced from hidden vineyards in the Awatere Valley, which is on the very edge of Marlborough. Serve chilled and enjoy now with your best buddies!

Caravan Sauvignon Blanc

John Quarisa, aka Johnny Q, is a terrific winemaker, creating wines that, like him, can be lively and highly charged. In his Caravan wine series, he likes to think of a grape that changes in style as it travels. So that here, Sauvignon Blanc grown in his Riverina vineyards produces a wine still with loads of grassy fresh zip, but along the way, has developed more tropical fruit flavours too. That is peach, pineapple and passionfruit! He insists on night harvested grapes to ensure lots of bright fresh flavours and cool ferments them for the same reason. This wine previously won a Gold medal and we think the 2021 vintage is tasting just as good – it's a fridge-door-must! Chill down and enjoy as a glass on its own or with spicy Thai dishes.

Highland Heritage Patrono Series Shiraz

Wine is a bright dense cherry red with a tinge of brick red. The bouquet exhibits lifted spicy ripe fruit and light earthy plummy Shiraz aromas, combined with soft vanillin oak characters. Full bodied, the length of the palate is filled with plummy spicy Shiraz flavours. Fruit characters are balanced by drying oak tannins which contribute both complexity and length to the wine. With a finish that is typical of cold climate Shiraz fruit crisp, clean and elegant. An ideal wine to accompany grilled red meats, curries, lamb, light game dishes or cheese.

Robert Stein Dry Riesling

This classic Riesling has crisp and racy finish with a slight touch of sweetness to balance the natural acidity.

Logan Ridge Of Tears Shiraz

The Ridge of Tears wines range is homage to Peter Logan's late ancestors. Ridge of Tears Mudgee Shiraz is a deep dark red coloured wine. The complex aroma of this dry red wine mixes florals, dark cherries, mulberries and plums, that further fuse with warm spices, liquorice and a little touch of fresh earth. The medium to full bodied palate displays plum, berry and spice flavours with a mineral core and grainy tannins. The palate presents a soft texture, before leading to a long finish. The wine tastes good with venison, grilled or roast beef, and strong hard cheeses especially Cheddar.
