Marchand & Burch Mt Barrow Pinot Noir

Aromas of red fruits and mushroom with scents of bouquet garni herbs and spices pervade the nose. This medium bodied wine has pinot noir typicity, balance, eveness and length. The red cherry stone fruit sweetness has a savoury and herbal edge wrapped in a filigreed fine tannin structure of great finesse. 'Has significantly more colour than Gibraltar Rock, the palate following suit; here there is red and black cherry, plum, spice and fine tannins all contributing to the overall flavour, mouth feel and length of the wine.' - 94 Points. - James Halliday, Australian Wine Companion 2013 Edition.

Singlefile Shiraz

From the Riversdale vineyard in the Frankland River sub-region of the Great Southern, this is a concentrated and fuller bodied shiraz with black fruit and black pepper aromas and an intriguing savoury palate revealing plush tannins and great length. Well suited to roasted red meat dishes.

Rosabrook Single Vineyard Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

Deeply coloured, with the classic bouquet of briar Cabernet and unmistakably Margaret River this wine has a rich and structured palate of some dimension and length.

Devils Lair Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

'Devil's Lair winery was considered a boutique winery until not that long ago. In recent years it has evolved to become one of the heavy weights of the Margaret River region. The winery's quirky name derives from an archaeological dig site on the property that unearthed an ancient Tasmanian Devil fossil. From the year that Devil's Lair's entry level wines earned accolades at Royal Society shows, I was expecting big things, and this wine doesn't disappoint. The wine's characters are intense, lean and focussed. Notes of strawberry jam, mulberry and blackcurrant. The Devil's Lair Cabernet Sauvignon is built for comfort, not speed. It will age well into teenage years and beyond.' - Andrew Woodforth, Vintage Cellars Spit Junction. Fraser Gallop Parterre Chardonnay

The wines of Fraser Gallop Estate are intensely flavoured, textured and complex. Only the finest quality French oak barrels are used for all Fraser Gallop Estate wines, with very specific Bordelais coopers used for the Cabernet Sauvignon and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blends, and Burgundian coopers for the Chardonnay. The complete winemaking process takes place at the estate - picking to vinification to barrel maturation to bottling to cellaring. Fraser Gallop Estate is an estate grown, produced and bottled wine. Flavours of lemon curd and grapefruit with searing length. A wine with clarity and finesse. A tightly focussed and very precise wine showing seamless fruit purity with the lightly toasted French oak very much in the background. Crystalline acidity and a mouth-watering finish complete this Chardonnay.

Umamu Estate Chardonnay

Made from vines planted in 2002, the fruit was harvested at moderate ripeness, based on flavour and retention of natural acidity, then barrel fermented in French oak and aged for a further ten months. In the glass: Green straw, yellow highlights. On the nose: Bold and striking lime and nectarine freshness with subtle, complexing ozone and oyster shell notes. On the palate: Terrific poise and balance with the beautiful aromas carrying precisely through to the palate, driven by lime-like acidity and perfectly judged quality oak.

Robert Bowen Chardonnay

From one of the finest vineyards in Margaret River comes this knockout chardonnay. Having spent 10 months on lees, this wine shows extraordinary length and intensity and while it drinks very well now, it will also age beautifully. Rob claims this is one of the best chardonnays hes ever produced and we couldnt agree more! Robert Bowen doesnt mind putting his own name to his chardonnay and its no surprise when its as good as this. Rob has been crafting chardonnay in Western Australia since 1981 and boy does it show! He lets the vineyards tell their own tales by harnessing what nature provides, protecting the fruit and the flavours of the grapes to produce the best wine possible from any site. Working with viticulturist and biodynamic enthusiast, Mike Saggers, the attention to detail is stunning and so is the chardonnay, with just the right balance of French oak. We can safely say the judges definitely enjoyed Robs chardonnay.

Marchand & Burch Mount Barrow Pinot Noir
