Hunter Valley icon Lake's Folly was established by Max Lake and family 1963 and his Cabernet blend has become one of the most collected wines in Australia. Magnificent nose of ripe black fruits - especially blackberry. Hints of Christmas cake, dark fruits with subtle hints of violets. The palate is elegant with restrained power - this is a classy wine - stylish, long palate, seamless with lovely structure and balance. It will age for a long period and be one of the great vintages in years to come in our buyers option.

Chris Ringland Limit Lodge Cabernet Mataro is a blend of exceptional fruit from exceptional vineyards, a new style from winemaker Chris Ringland and grape grower Adrian Hoffmann. The name Limit Lodge comes from a historical parcel within the Hoffmann vineyards, and is also appropriate given the limited number of bottles made. Matured in aged French oak, this is a juicy Cabernet blend rich in dark, plummy fruits with savoury notes of bittersweet chocolate, coffee, and anise. The finish is long with mouth-coating tannins, and a slight salinity. Plenty of potential for ageing.

Coming primarily from the Ornellaia Estates younger vineyards, Le Serre Nuove dellOrnellaia is a true second wine. A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc & Petit Verdot, Le Serre Nuove dellOrnellaia combines generosity and depth of flavour with an engaging and vibrant personality.

Henschke's flagship Cabernet is named after the late Cyril Henschke who purchased the Eden Valley property in the 1960s. Stephen and Prue Henschke then established the vineyard with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines which produces this intensely perfumed Cabernet. Matured in 100% new French oak for 18 months, this exceptional wine shows blackcurrant and cedar characters balanced with superb fine grained tannin.

The Te Mata Coleraine is concentrated and complex with elegant cassis and fine grain tannins. Close to a true Bordeaux style with the fruit being sourced from the North Island region of Hawke's Bay in New Zealand. Recommended cellaring of up to 15 years from harvest.
