Mojo In Full Colour Shiraz

On the nose, black raspberry fruits with hints of smoky tobacco. The palate follows with densely packed, plush red fruits with lashings of all spice and white pepper. Tannins are soft and sleek. Lively, raspberry, spicy. Picked between 13.5 14.5 Baume. 7-day ferment on skins, then gently pressed. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. Storage in oak for 6 months combination of 1 to 3-year-old French and American oak then, blended and bottle. Shiraz South Australia's first vineyards were established in the 1830's. Enjoying a wide range of climates including the cool temperatures of the Adelaide Hills, to the hot summer weather of the Barossa Valley, South Australia is arguably Australia's most diverse wine producing state. It is from these wonderfully diverse regions that winemaker Marty O'Flaherty selects the best varietals to produce Mojo wines. Marty's resounding philosophy is "wine should tell a story about the terroir in which it's grown, needing lots of love but minimal handling by allowing the growers to do what they do best."

Lou Miranda Estate Golden Lion Reserve Shiraz

Last year we were lucky enough to get our hands on the Golden Lion RESERVE shiraz from Lou Miranda. We thought it was a rare occasion, but we’ve played our cards right and are ecstatic to bring you the 2018. It’s an equally as excellent wine that feels kinda like welding a jet engine to the back of their regular shiraz. Power and other-worldly levels of deliciousness.

Archery Road Longbow Shiraz

From the prized southern part of the sun-drenched Barossa, steeped in quality grown shiraz (you know we’ve done the research) It’s right here, where the surrounding views offer the picture-perfect painting; a diversity of colours from the tree leaves to the soils, which in turn give our favourite grape - shiraz - all the lashings of character we as adults have grown to become obsessed with. A blend of hand-selected low-yielding parcels, you’ll find generous flavours of black fruit, olive and pepper spice, backed by silky tannins, yet the wine is intense on the palate, with a great depth and length. Such a complex finish, and a damn fine gem of a shiraz.

Brothers At War Pendee Farm Shiraz

This isn’t our first rodeo with this particular house of Barossa legends. However, this is the first of which we snapped up every bottle. This is a special cuvée, an homage to the vineyard that represents the backbone of this particular winery: old vine Barossa shiraz. It’s hard working, relentlessly giving, and concentrates all its goodness in small, powerful doses. If you’re like us, you can taste Barossa shiraz when you hear it mentioned, but this is not like the rest. Think ripe yet firm, impressive yet restrained, loud yet humble. Begging to be drunk and enjoyed now or for a number of years to come.

Smiths Lane Reserve Barossa Shiraz

This Barossa Shiraz is big, bold and generous. Scarlet with russet tones and aromas of dark plum and blackberries are to be discovered. The palate is full and juicy. Drink now or cellar up to 8 years.
