Franklin Tate Estates Chardonnay
Evans & Tate is arguable the most famous name in Western Australia wine, and now the Tate name has been re-born in the Franklin Tate Estates wines made by esteemed winemaker, Rory Clifton-Parks. Franklin Tate himself has sought out the finest vineyard sites in the Margaret River region to deliver superb, terroir driven, wines that showcase the tradition and longevity of the Tate name, but also a modern and innovative wine-making approach. The Chardonnay was one third fermented in fine French Oak barriques delivery a soft and creamy mouthfeel, yet still with varietal lift and fine acid balance.
Franklin Tate Estates Sauvignon Blanc Semillon
The Tate family are one of the most famous wine names in Western Australia, especially in Margaret River. It was the Tate family who began Evans & Tate decades ago and today the Tate name is re-born under the Franklin Tate Estates label. Franklin, son of John, has sourced some of the most prestigious vineyard sites in Margaret River and has highly regarded winemaker Rory Clifton-Parks to handcraft the quality wines. The Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is a traditional Margaret River blend that displays characters of lifted lemon and a hint of cut grass. The palate is refreshing and cleansing with a lovely crisp finish.

MadFish Gold Turtle Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
The MadFish range by traditional Margaret River producer, Howard Park, is one of great value and regionality. This Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blend is a Western Australian staple with gooseberry flavours along with real citrus zest lift and a cleansing back palate. But it is the complexity in this wine that is truly remarkable and something that isn't often seen in this blend.
Deep Woods Estate Sauvignon Blanc
This estate-grown Sauvignon Blanc and fruit from selected Southern Margaret River growers. Zesty citrus, passionfruit and herbal aromas are combined with hint of 'gunflint'. The palate exhibits clean passionfruit and citrus flavours, with a core of cleansing natural acidity that provides freshness and poise with a persistent and flavoursome finish.
Miles From Nowhere Semillon
It's nice to see a straight varietal Semillon from Margaret River that hasn't been blended with its regular partner Sauvignon Blanc, and this is a delicious example.Excellent straw green colour. Bright and primary lime, lemon and green apple. Fine lemon and lime juice entry with good tension and length, mouth-watering acidity, some pithy textural elements and a fresh finish.
John Tate Estate The Maker Chardonnay
The underlying patterns of the ancient trees of Western Australia reflect wine legend John Tate's legacy - a living history of the region that he helped make. The Maker Chardonnay shows lifted aromas of grapefruit, stonefruit and hints of oak spice. With delicious flavours of ripe white peach, fresh citrus and an elegant finish. Beautifully served alongside roast chicken.
