The Nepenthe Altitude Chardonnay is one of the fine crisp and vibrant Adelaide Hills produced wines. Classic varietal aromas of stone fruits and nectarine complemented with refreshing citrus notes on the nose. The pure fruit flavours were enhanced by the lively crisp acidity leading to a lengthy finish.

Pale gold with green hues, the wine has aromas of strawberry leaf and nashi pear. These flavours continue on the palate where they are joined with custard apple, anise and crunchy green apples, creating a rich and succulent palate. The wine finishes with lingering acid and a hint of musk.

Wonderful earthy cedar and berries on the nose make this wine instantly attractive. The palate is rich and savoury, velvety in texture and spicy on the finish. Sourced and grown in the Adelaide Hills, this is a fine example of how good Chardonnay from this region can be. This is a blend of 3 different cultivars of the Chardonnay grape. Bunch pressed and in part wild fermented. Partial malolactic fermentation imparts further complexity. A beautifully textured and complex wine.

A pale straw colour with vivid green hues. Gunflint, almond and lemon zest characterise the aroma. The wine has a steely edged structure and the mid-palate is filled with white peach and oyster-shell flavours. It draws into a long, spicy finish.

Wynns Coonawarra Estate Single Vineyard Messenger Chardonnay is an inaugural release from the Messenger Vineyard. The vineyard is loacted in the cooler southern part of Coonawarra’s Terra Rossa, the wine crafted with hand-picked fruit and whole-bunch pressing for purity and finesse. The 2024 vintage offers enticing aromas and flavours of white peach, nectarine, fresh pear, and cashew, complemented by subtle dried honey, gun flint, and nutty French oak, all balanced by a refreshing citric acidity and a creamy, textured palate.
