Wild Turkey Rare Breed is a Barrel Proof Bourbon, meaning no water is added to reduce the level of alcohol during the bottling process. This method captures its rich pure Bourbon flavour. Medium to full-bodied with a nose of spring flowers balanced by a touch of black pepper and almonds.

In 1940 a very special bottle of barrel-aged bourbon was brought on a wild turkey hunt. The name stuck and still signifies exceptional, aged bourbon today. Master Distiller Eddie Russell honours this tradition by ageing our bourbon longer - from five up to eight years - in number four 'alligator char' American oak barrels.

Each bottle of 1792 Small Batch Bourbon is handcrafted in small batches, bottled at 93.7 proof and aged 8 years in new charred oak barrels. Gentleman Jack gets its unique mellow smoky flavour from being twice filtered through charcoal as opposed to the regular single filtration for Jack Daniels. The Whiskey is then aged and filtered again before bottling.
