Oakdene Wines Single Vineyard Jessica Sauvignon
Pale straw with a green tinge. Restrained bouquet of tropical fruits with citrus overtones and subtle nutty aromas derived from barrel fermentation. Abundant guava and white peach, vanilla and a mineral edge, with oak adding texture to the mid palate. Acidity adding precision, focus and length. Fermented and matured for 8 months in 100% French oak barriques (15% new), cellar over the next 4 years.
Jones Road Pinot Gris
Reminiscent of its Alsace homeland, the grapes were given more hang time for richer fruit and higher alcohol, then partial wild yeast fermentation and old-oak maturation for texture and complexity. In the glass: Medium straw.On the nose: Lifted pear, apricot and musk. On the palate: True to the Gris style, its juicy with a gorgeous texture, featuring characters of ripe pear, stonefruit and musk. Mouth-watering acidity leads to a chalky finish.

Sourced from a single vineyard site in the Strathbogie Ranges, ideally suited to growing aromatic and balanced Pinot Gris. The cool nights here allow the fruit to reach optimum ripeness whilst retaining an elegant balance between flavour, alcohol and acidity. This wine by Pacha Mama underwent lees stirring while in barrel, resulting in a buttery richness and complexity that sets the pinot gris style apart from the tighter, more acidic Pinot Grigio. Rich and inviting nose with white musk, fresh quince and honeysuckle. A generous and textural palate, with flavours of crýme brulee, lemon zest and musk, balanced by refreshing acidity and a satisfying, clean finish.
