A well-rounded and savoury recipe, our Navy Strength Gin summons the characteristics of the best spices first discovered on the infamous Silk Road, and with that little extra kick to make it an unforgettable journey.

To create this truly unique whisky, we selectively sourced rare malted rye and the finest malted barley from progressive malt houses, paired them with virgin American oak casks air-dried for 36 months and let it all mature in the maritime air of coastal Sydney. Our preference for malted rye over the far more commonly used unmalted rye affords this whisky a point of distinction evident upon the very first sip. This layered, aromatic spirit offers notes of spiced custard, ginger, stone fruit and baked apple pie with a fresh herbal finish that lingers on the palate.

Born of the forest and distilled with a unique blend of botanicals, including the mystical mandrake root, our premium addition to the Nosferatu Distillery Gin family is the stuff of legend. The aim with this Gin was to only use Tas native botanicals. I discovered some very impressive native berries, leaves and seeds however they could only be wild harvested which meant I could not get enough quantity to make it practical enough for an ongoing production. I have still been able to use some Tasmanian native botanicals however I have now broadened the list to only Australian native botanicals (plus the Juniper). Iam using 6 Native Australian botanicals with 3 of them never used before in any other Gin.All of my botanicals are vapour infused which is a technique not used too often with Australian Gins. Vapour infusion (as opposed to steeped) will give the Gin a much more delicate and subtle bouquet. My Gin is designed to smell beautiful. There will be delicate petal and citrus aromas with a hint of cut hay.

This is a BIG gin so be ready! Double juniper gives a bold & not to be ignored entrance followed by 3 tiers of citrus spark offering butter and sweet profiling. Herbaceous and earthly floral leaves notes of garden rain on the palate.
