Lark Hill have been the pioneers of this traditional Austrian variety. Paul Scorpo produces a Chardonnay of complexity and character here. Aromas of nectarine, minerals and vanilla bean give way to a mouthfeel of peach and citrus and a lovely acid backbone. A truly full-bodied Chardonnay for those who love their barrel ferment and textured styles.

This unfiltered Chardonnay was made at Giaconda by Rick Kinzbrunner using traditional techniques. Quite sublime buttery richness with perfect balance of acid and oak integration.

This Pinot gris by Hugel et Fils is rich and rounded, although still dry, it is ideal with terrines, white meats and fish in sauce. Of all the Alsace varieties, Tokay Pinot Gris has the greatest ageing potential.
