Aged on lees for up to five years before being disgorged using the ancient method of disgorgement à la volée - with nerve! The wine is super rich and complex. Roasted pine nuts, toasty citrus and brioche with a very fine bead of bubbles.

Made from estate dry grown hand-picked grapes from the coolest part of our vineyard, this blend of Pinot Noir 55% & Chardonnay 45% made in the true French Champagne method displays a gently perfumed bouquet, balanced brilliantly with crisp acidity and a lively palate leading to a rich brioche & creamy finish, 30 months on lees, disgorged February 2020.

A blend of two regions, namely the Adelaide Hills and Coonawarra, this aromatic white displays wonderful exotic fruit intensity that is touched by a subtle herbal note. There is also a line of definitive crisp minerality to leave your palate not only refreshed, but calling for more.

Petaluma use their impressive vineyard holding in the Adelaide Hills to produce a Chardonnay that shows poise and precision. Sourced from vineyards in Lenswood and Balhannah and then fermented in a combination of one and two year old French oak as well as stainless steel. Lees sturring helps add complexity and texture while the cool-climate fruit adds minerality and freshness.

Petaluma have access to some of South Australia's premier vineyard sites which are put to impressive use here with their White Label Pinot Gris. 100% sourced from the Adelaide Hills, yet four vineyards are used to create this delicious white; two in the Piccadilly Valley, one near Balhannah and one near Lenswood. Only the very best fruit was selected and left to ferment in older French barriques, the resulting wine has a classic cool-climate backbone with racy acidity and depth of flavour on the palate.

The trailblazers of the Adelaide Hills have created another outstanding wine. A superb expression of modern cool-climate Shiraz; Shaw & Smith is elegantly spicy and brimming with supple red-fruit flavours matched by fine tannins. An absolute ripper.

Penfolds Maxs Chardonnay is a tribute to former Chief Winemaker Max Schubert, a legend in Penfolds history. Pale straw in colour with green hues, this wine has a very nice textural and creamy palate with a soft line of acid fading ever so slowly to a distant palate horizon.
