Terre a Terre Crayeres Vineyard Cabernet Shiraz
Penfolds Bin 128
Created in 1962, Penfolds Bin 128 is a regional wine that reflects the unique climate and growing conditions of South Australia's Coonawarra district and the relatively elegant style of cool climate Shiraz. From the 1980 vintage, French oak replaced American, highlighting the pepper, spice and floral characteristics that define this style. Since the mid-1980s, a greater attention has been paid to fruit ripeness, resulting in a wine that is fuller in style and structure.

School House Headmaster Coonawarra Shiraz
A great vintage Coonawarra Shiraz with a raft of critical praise, 93-95pt scores, and appealing wax capsule, this is a real treat. "Mighty good year in Coonawarra. So, that’s why we have a mighty good Coonawarra Shiraz here. Love the merging of dark cherry and blackberry with a red berry infusion. The palate is so plush and vibrant with lush berries supported perfectly with fine tannin and even finer grained oak. A classy example of what Coonawarra can do with Shiraz in a good year. Bravo!" Ray Jordan Winepilot.
Redman Bill & Arthur Coonawarra Shiraz
The Bill & Arthur is named after two pioneering and well-regarded Coonawarra local legends and, we are delighted to tell you, that in the glass, this special exclusive is deep, dark and downright delicious. Drawn from the 1890s heritage row and other Redman vineyards with an average vine age of about 50 years, the Bill & Arthur stands as a classic Coonawarra Shiraz: medium-bodied, with a richness of fruit that ripens at a lower alcohol level than typical Barossa and McLaren Vale Shiraz. Hand-plunged and basket-pressed, the 2021 exhibits generous blackcurrent, violet and bramble aromas, leading to a savoury flavor profile with a touch of pepper and Chinese five-spice playing in the background. Just add barbequed ribeye with black pepper sauce. Dan Redman describes the 2021 vintage as one of Coonawarra’s best. Matured in aged American and French oak for about 12 months. Will cellar for 5 to 10 years but ready for immediate drinking pleasure.

The Author represents the finest expression of the vintage. The 2019 Shiraz is dark magenta in colour with lifted spice, sweet oak and dark berry aromatics. The wine shows vibrant red berry fruits, with hints of plum and bramble. Aged in a combination of new and old French Oak, seamleessly intergrated with the fruit. Refined and silky tannins lead to a long and persistent length of flavour. This has all the hallmarks of a classic Coonawarra Shiraz and will drink well now but will reward patient cellaring for 10-15 years.
