Limavady Single Barrel Irish Whiskey

Meet Ireland’s only Single Barrel Single Malt Whiskey on the market! Darryl McNally brings Single Barrel Whiskey to Ireland, reinventing the historic Limavady name. Crafted with 100% malted barley, the whiskey is triple distilled, aged in ex-bourbon barrels, and finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.Darryl is fulfilling his lifelong dream to craft his own exceptional whiskey, by combining the precision of a whiskey Master and the spirit of Limavady’s namesake. Limavady will satisfy serious whiskey lovers but fits the bill for everyday enjoyment with whomever you choose to bring to the table.

Paddy Irish Whiskey

In the whiskey that bears his name, the legendary spirit of Patrick J. OFlaherty lives on today, worldwide. He was Paddy, to his friends, and they were legion. A kindly, generous and beloved fellow, Paddy traveled pub-to-pub across Ireland, selling Cork Distilleries Map of Ireland Whiskey and giving out rounds of free drinks along the way, for more than four decades, but the legend (and the whiskey) became a favorite well beyond Ireland. Before long, international patrons and publicans alike were clamouring for more Paddy, so the whiskeys name was changed to honour the man himself, as global demand increased. Paddys namesake whiskey, triple distilled and aged in the oaken casks of County Cork, Ireland, was always light, balanced and pure. A smooth, accessible whiskey for nearly a quarter millennium, it remains just so today, wherever you enjoy it.

Glendalough Double Barrel Whiskey

Our Double Barrel has sucked the marrow out of two casks, Bourbon and Oloroso. They each bring their own unique flavour and character. While the Bourbon barrels add, among other things, sweet, smooth vanilla notes, the Oloroso casks layer on those dried fruit and slightly nutty flavours. And of course these are all accented by almost four years resting in Ireland’s mild maritime climate.

Redbreast 12 Year Old Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

We secure more stocks at this special price! Expect to pay $120 to $160 elsewhere. This is the world's best whisky! Drinkstrade.com.au have reported that Redbreast 12 Year Old has won the World Whisky Trophy at the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) 2019. The competition awarded Redbreast 12 an impressive 98 points, narrowly beating world whisky competitors from Australia, South Africa, Denmark, India, Taiwan and Switzerland, among many others. The judges said: “It starts with a gorgeous nose, a fantastic composition of aromas all complementing each other. Think of roasted coffee, toffee apples, malt and warm Christmas spices. The palate is bold but very elegant with a nice balance and all in order to a great finale with dried fruits, candied oranges and sweet spices.” For decades, serious whiskey drinkers drank Irish "blended" whiskey, mixing it with cola or adding a dash to coffee. But, John Hansell, editor and publisher of Malt Advocate magazine, says that's changing. "The line between Irish whiskey and Scotch whisky has become blurred," says Hansell, since Irish whiskey companies like Bushmills and Jameson have expanded their range to include deluxe whiskies from aged blends to pure pot stills and their own brand of single malts. "The top Irish whiskeys are just as good as many single-malt scotches. It's too bad more people aren't aware of how complex some of these whiskeys have become." Here's a case in point. From Irish Distillers Ltd, Redbreast is a 'Single' unblended, pure pot still Irish whiskey made with malted and unmalted barley which has been triple distilled. Our tasting found powerful, sensuous aromatics, at first reminiscent of creaming soda then vanilla wafer and sweet cereals enter giving this a Bourbon slant. The entry is soft and light. Mid palate turns deliciously creamy with semi-sweet, toasty cereals and brandy cream sauce flavours superbly counterpointed by spicy, drying oak. Finishes crisp and dry with terrific length as the vanilla wafer biscuit again emerges followed by a late creme-caramel fade. An Irish with soul and distinctive style, this also offers a mouthfeel that’s uncommon. Its lightness of body combined with depth of flavour make for a terrific aperitif. 40% Alc./Vol.

Lanique Rose Spirit

Creating rose tinted cocktails since 1785. Lanique is created by steam-distilling thousands of hand-picked rose petals that are sourced from the East. Once steam distilled, the rose petals release The Attar of Rose, a liquid that is more valuable, gram for gram, than gold itself. The Attar of Rose is then added in a slow, multi-part process with carefully selected sugars and a neutral grain spirit. The complex distillation process creates a truly unique flavour of Turkish Delight, a hint of cherry and the gorgeous aroma of the most beautiful Damascene rose. Appearance: Clear, bright pink. Aroma: Ripe rose and raspberry reminiscent of Turkish Delight; with soft hints of lime and strong spirit aromas. Taste: A slightly syrupy, liqueur-like texture with sweet pastilles of rose, ripe raspberry and cherry. The initial warmth and sweetness spreads over the palate with an undertone of peppery spirit, soon to be contrasted with a subtle rind of lime, providing a fresh citrus hit. Finish: Sweet rose and hints of white chocolate, with a subtle lime acidity and cracked black pepper spiciness provide a beautifully balanced finish. Lanique, Spirit of Rose has been treasured by the Aristocracy across Europe since the late 1700s. The original recipe was rediscovered and recreated in 2015, and it is now proudly distilled in the UK. Now you too can enjoy the pure distillation of 18th century splendour recreated in this modern world. Check our our gorgeous Lanique cocktail recipes here! Also available: Lanique Rose Margarita Cocktail Pack. Everything you need to make the rose-tinted Mexican classic.
