The Nugan family named this wine after their grandfather, founder and inspiration - Alfredo Nugan. This wine is a tribute to his vision and the passion he instilled in us, his family, to pursue his ideals of outstanding quality and service. Both the Sangiovese and Merlot are sourced from our Frascas Lane Vineyard in Victorias cool climate King Valley.

Nugan Durif exhibits aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and cherry with hints of aniseed and all-spice. A full-bodied wine displaying soft chewy tannins and a youthful fine acid balance with a generous palate of dark cherry and plum pudding with dusty chocolate, earth and spice. Durif is otherwise known as Petit Syrah.

This lovely, light pink coloured wine was crafted using 100% Pinot Noir grapes. Fragrances of fresh and floral candied fruits flow off the aromatic nose, effortlessly fusing with the dry and refreshing palate full of Pinot Noir flavours.
