If one is an Italian winemaker established in King Valley region, chances are that he would use a grape variety like the great Sangiovese to craft a Rosetta wine. This is exactly what the Pizzinis have done, making them a revered name in the Australian wine industry. Their Rosetta is a marvellous and savoury pink wine that matches well with a wide variety of food. Flavours of strawberries and cherries along with aromas of fresh berries and carefully selected cranberries are integrated into each drop of this wonderful wine. Using the mainstay Italian variety Sangiovese, Fred Pizzini has crafted a dry style of rose with tropical fruits and floral undertones. Perfect with al fresco dining!

Clean, bright and fruit driven with strawberries and cream, cranberry, candy floss and subtle hints of nougat and spice. The palate is long and focused with light and soft texture. There is strawberries and cream with spiced red apple leading to a soft long finish.

Dal Zotto Sangiovese is mid garnet with a purple hue; the savoury bouquet is immediately reminiscent of Tuscany with briary red fruits, sour cherry in particular, sage and thyme and a little earthy complexity adding interest; the palate is medium-bodied and fleshy on entry, with the crunchy tannin and acid of the variety providing an engaging and savoury platform to conclude; will handle a huge array of flavours, from light to full blooded.

Pizzini Arneis is grown and made in the foothills of the King Valley. This delicate grape ripens slowly in the protective Autumn mists and shows a bouquet of quince and almond and the palate displays wonderfully elegant fruit flavours.
