The Great Southern wine region lies along the Southern Ocean on Western Australia’s south coast. This stunning Riesling from the West is all limes and citrus with great length and depth of flavour. The only problem with this wine is there is never enough to go around.

'This delicate and silkily refined chardonnay absolutely nails the Pemberton style. Love it. Minerally and slightly savoury edges on the nose and the palate. Its delicate, yet there are layers of complexity which extend through a very long linear palate structure. Tightly controlled but sustained and penetrating. This Pinot Grigio has a soft pink hue representing this white grape that has a bluish/pink skin. A dry, crisp wine with peach, green apple flavours and a savoury finish. Frankland WA grown.

From the Lange family estate and vineyard situated in the picturesque Frankland River, tucked away in the far northwestern corner of the Great Southern. “This is a potent Chardonnnay of power and presence. Toasty whiffs with cedar and clove spice, some rich, hazelnut elements, ripe citrus, red apple and rockmelon in tow. The palate similar to the bouquet, bold and spicy, laden with woody seasoning and generous to a tee. In all that, the balance works well” (Halliday).

Vibrant and lifted, this cool climate blenddisplays aromas of pea hay, asparagus and white peach with secondary notes of cut grass and melons. A fresh mid-palate of grapefruit and quince with a hint of passionfruit anda long, crisp citrus finish.

Fermented on skins, this is a textural wine, with it's various components delviering a wines that is more than the sum of it's parts. Ideal with spicy or salty foods. Pinot Gris / Gewurz / Riesling

On the nose this Fumé has passionfruit and gooseberries with crisp citrus. The palate is filled with tropical fruit, herbaceous citrus acidity with a smoky tannic finish.

Ferngrove Wines, in Frankland River, is one of the world's most isolated wine estate. While this isolation makes the logistics of wine-making tough, it is also what makes Ferngrove wines distinctly different. This Chardonnay is aromatic, complex lemon zest, pear skin and pink grapefruit in harmony with complex toasty French oak and toasted nuts. Piercing grapefruit, lime and pear with a creamy texture and vanilla French oak with lingering mineral acidity.

The 2017 Chardonnay fruit was handpicked in pristine condition. Lifted bouquet of nectarines and stone fruits with an underlay of toasty spice. Barrel ferment characters add complexity while flavours of citrus and cashew swirl around the palate to give a long flavoursome finish.
